VP Marketing

We are looking for a VP of Marketing who is experienced in the field of demand generation, the VP of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing all campaigns, events, seminars, email campaigns, webinars, digital campaigns, and targeted account campaigns. You will need exceptional project management skills, significant attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate innovative ideas and themes and turn them into impactful campaigns.

Primary Duties:
  • Drive strategy and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Demand Generation Campaigns – Develop and execute campaigns that successfully drive engagement and generate quality leads
  • Sales focus – Work side by side with sales to understand needs and help drive sales pipeline
  • Operations – You will implement best practices to capture and nurture leads to drive sales
  • Analytics – Ongoing measurement of campaigns and results, ability to forecast campaign ROI and continually measure results
  • Market Intelligence – Expert on ecommerce buyers and how they buy
  • Creativity – Ability to translate strategic goals and develop creative engagement tactics
  • Communication – Active role in keeping sales and cross-functional teams up-to-date
  • Project Management – Ensure projects and deadlines are always met
  • Develop and implement customer acquisition marketing campaigns while meeting performance targets and goals
  • Ability to define and build new business processes that improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with design team to develop creative concepts and campaign assets
  • Analyze campaign data, identify actionable opportunities, and measure and report on performance
Ancillary Duties:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related degree, Master’s Degree preferred
  • 10 plus years of experience in a progressive marketing role
  • 7 plus years of proven results driven marketing leadership skills
  • Ability to balance tactical and strategic plans and workload
  • Excellent people and management skills. Ability to effectively interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Analytical skills, marketing / business intelligence
  • Ideal candidates will have experience marketing subscription based companies
  • Software demand generation marketing experience
  • Experience working with large data sets and complex analysis
  • Solid understanding of direct response techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create great working relationships

  • Analytics – Report on measurement of campaigns and results, ability to forecast campaign ROI, maintain campaign reporting dashboard, and continually measure results
  • Creativity – Ability to translate strategic goals into tactical campaign tools
  • Communication – Active role in keeping sales and cross-functional teams up-to-date
  • Project Management – Ensure projects and deadlines are always met
  • Implement customer acquisition marketing campaigns while meeting performance targets and goals
  • Execute campaigns that support new growth and opportunities
  • Collaborate with design team to develop creative concepts and campaign assets

Your social media portfolio must show that you can execute on both strategy and tactical activities. Your social media expertise must include active participation in a wide variety of social media activities including blogging, community development and management, commenting and managing comments, building a fanbase, managing conflict, and creating programs to drive sales, brand and web traffic. If you can think strategically and creatively, and can implement new social media programs to make a difference for ONTRAPORT then we want you!

Primary Duties:
  • Create a comprehensive social media strategy to define programs that use social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic across all ONTRAPORT brands
  • Implement and manage social media programs based on strategy and company goals.
  • Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media at ONTRAPORT.
  • Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts.
  • Become an advocate of the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
  • Handle the day-to-day of social media campaigns (Tweeting, updating Facebook page, monitoring all platforms, responding to customer inquiries in real time, listen to what people are saying about the brand, keeping an eye on social media activity using advanced social media monitoring software, etc.)
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Engage, inspire and build relationships with the ONTRAPORT community
  • Actively monitor ONTRAPORT’s social channels, respond to users
  • Analyze community feedback, turn it into actionable items.
  • Work on new campaigns to inspire community engagement
  • Educate employees on how to incorporate relevant social media techniques into both corporate culture and marketing efforts.
  • Ensure tracking, collecting and analyzing relevant social media metrics and ensure timely, effective and efficient reporting of all social media efforts.
Requirements:
  • Degree in communications, public relations or marketing
  • 8+ years social media experience on a Marketing and/or Corporate Communications Team, or at an agency
  • Digital portfolio of social media work including metrics
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • An out-of-the-box creative thinker
  • Critical thinker who can instantly react to new situations
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable information
  • Can closely follow changing social media trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create great working relationships
  • Be part of the company wide weekly think tank
