As part of ONTRAPORT’s Content Team, the Editor will report to the Chief Content Officer and partner with members of the Content Team. As Editor, you will be responsible for the development of content pieces to grow brand awareness, drive thought leadership, and increase demand and revenue across all segments of our business.

Connecting and educating customers with our brand is essential to ONTRAPORT’s rapid growth. Valuable communication is the key to accomplishing this mission. You will work closely with internal and external subject matter experts, thought leaders, customers and partners to create original thought leadership across multiple platforms and formats, including blogs, infographics, videos, ebooks, and more.   • Bring big ideas to the table that help drive our brand and increase revenue
  • Help writers and freelancers generate new pitches
  • Write original thought leadership and content over multiple platforms and formats, including ebooks, infographics, videos, blogs, and more
  • Partner with the Growth team on all brand and marketing creative initiatives that shape how we represent our brand in campaigns, websites, advertising, and other brand touchpoints
  • Elevate our brand with customers and partners, and help tell our story in both physical and digital moments
  • Assist with content efforts for strategic business partnerships
  • Work with members of the Content team to develop and drive cross-functional content strategy across the different segments of our business
  • Review content for style guidelines, brand consistency, and voice
  • Provide accurate and timely project reporting on all editor activities
  • Verify facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources
  • Work with copy editor to manage article accuracy

Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism required, MBA a plus
  • 7+ years experience as Editor in digital agency environment, online news site, or corporate content department
  • 7+ years experience directly managing, mentoring, and building teams
    7+ years in content strategy
  • Experience in marketing software a plus
  • Experience supervising one or more off-site employees

User Experience/Interface Designer

ONTRAPORT is looking for a skilled User Experience/Interface Designer to join our fast-growing product team. As a UX designer, you will work directly with the product team on interface design for our SaaS platform used by thousands of businesses around the world.

This person should have a talent and passion for translating complex tasks into simple interactions — driving our product’s ease of use. The ideal candidate thrives in a highly collaborative environment, working alongside UX design peers, Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers to create revolutionary software solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop wireframes, designs and detailed UI specifications for the engineering team.
  • Present designs to Product Team, continuing to iterate and incorporate feedback as necessary.
  • Facilitate user research, in collaboration with the team, to validate prototypes and conduct ongoing usability testing of the working software.
  • Contribute to the continual development of user interface design requirements and standard UI components.
  • Support the team as needed with wireframes, flow diagrams, rapid prototypes to communicate and validate design ideas.
  • Be the advocate of the customer, sharing data and insights with the team to communicate customer needs and best practices.
  • Participate in the evolving UX team strategy, discovering new tools and resources.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in user experience or interactive visual design.
  • Must possess a sense of practicality and curiosity combined with a genuine love for products, people, and user experience.
  • The ability to understand and design for complex technical products, using modern design best practices.
  • The ability to clearly organize design documents, communicate design rationale, and build consensus.
  • Adobe design tools expertise.
  • Strong technical aptitude.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript prototyping. Direct experience optimizing design concepts around these technologies.
  • Experience in a collaborative design environment and the ability to constructively contribute to team growth and maintaining excellence throughout the department.
  • A cutting edge portfolio of software design that demonstrates outstanding interaction design skills.
  • Experience with a variety of UX deliverables (wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, etc.)
  • Experience with large and complex software interfaces and projects.
